Looonnnggg Cross Country

Don Will, Kyle Davies and Dan flew N12645 from Friday Harbor to San Diego and back. Kyle and Dan departed FHR and flew over to BVS to pick up Don, then flew south to Kelso, Roseburg, and Sacramento. The next leg of the trip ended at Harris Ranch for a wonderful steak dinner. Approaching the LA area clearance was received to transition the shoreline flyway right over LAX and on to Montgomery Field in San Diego. The return trip two days later was an encounter with perfect weather conditions all along the route, departing Montgomery and stopping in Fresno, then Redding, on to Salem, and a beautiful night arrival at PDX. After delivering Don back to BVS, Kyle and Dan turned west for what felt like a very short flight home to FHR. Now that is a cross-country!
